Christian Service
A Tradition of Service
Service is a hallmark of Bishop Lynch High School’s Dominican heritage, and it is a pillar of our community.
The Heart of St. Dominic Christian Service Program requires all students to complete a specified number of hours prior to graduation, while instilling a love and a passion for service in the footsteps of St. Dominic. Every student is required to complete 80 hours of service upon graduation which places them at the Steward level, and is awarded Disciple or Missionary Disciple levels for completing 160 and 240 hours, respectively. Disciple and Missionary Disciple levels of service are recognized with a white or a gold stole at graduation.
